When the love of your life does'nt love you back

We all want to love someone and be loved by someone. So what do you do when the person you love doesn't love you back? Here are some of the things I can tell you that we all have done; Thinking that if we could just make that person happy by changing something like our hair, weight, the way we dress or any other small thing in hopes that they will feel more strongly about us. Most of us have tried that. Did it work for you? Or how about this one; Thinking well if I just wait it out for a while they will eventually feel the same way I do. How long did that idea last? But the most popular and harmful one of all is; Since he/she doesn't love me, I will start a relationship with someone else who does love me so I can get the love I need. Only problem is you don't love that person the same way. It is all damaging to any future success in a relationship. Even though the pain you feel runs deep and it hurts a long time; the hope is that Love is still out there for you. There is someone for everyone. And the one we want isn't always the person intended for us. That doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't love. It means until we find the love that is ours to have and receive, we are in practice and preparing to appreciate the love that we so desire, so it will last forever and no one can take it away. So, while you are waiting for that great love, keep preparing and practice how to give love back and embrass every experience with love while you wait. It will make it all the more worth the wait when you finally receive it.
